Our team of professionals undergo continual certification classes and educational seminars to relay effective knowledge to those who attend our ranges. While withholding the freedom and spirit of shooting, we have intertwined safety to prevent any un preferred incidents on our grounds. Providing a safe environment while educating our members of proper protocol is our number 1 priority. In all classes offered at Darnall's, gun safety is included on a specific level. If you are not attending a firearm class, we still request that each member or non member familiarize themselves with proper safety motives on the indoor and outdoor shooting ranges. Feel free to speak to any of our team members in regards to safety etiquette and they would be more than happy to assist you. The major concerns may be more obvious such as keeping the barrel of your weapon pointed down at all times. However, there are a few scenarios that you may be unfamiliar with such as what to do when a gun fails to fire; or in the event of other mechanical issues. Even if an event occurs in which you are unfamiliar with the next step, utilize common sense and remain attentive while you locate a professional at Darnall's to assist you.

In operation and family owned since 1923, our employees have familiarized themselves with Illinois recommendations and are dedicated to making improvements each year. In 2019 we added more cover to our outdoor ranges, a parking area to relieve the walk to these outdoor ranges, and many more amenities.
